A few quick answers
How do app lists and limits work?
Choose individual apps and save them in a list. A daily limit is one allowance shared by the apps in that list. When it is used up, those apps block until the daily reset. You can also use a schedule for recurring hours or Focus for a timed session. See which rule to use.
Why can’t I select a whole category?
Scroll Off uses individual apps so you can see exactly what you are limiting. On iPhone, expand a category in Apple’s picker and select the apps inside it.
Blocking isn’t working on iPhone.
Check that Scroll Off has Screen Time access in iOS Settings. Then check that the app is in the right list and an enabled limit, schedule or Focus session currently applies. If it still opens when it should block, email us the rule type and what happened.
What do I enable on Android?
Follow Scroll Off’s setup buttons for Usage access and Accessibility. Usage access measures app time; Accessibility lets the blocker respond when a distracting app opens. In Android’s Accessibility settings, select Scroll Off app blocking and enable the service. The exact settings labels vary by phone.
I reinstalled. Do I have to buy again?
On iPhone, use Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account that bought the subscription. An active subscription can be restored without a Scroll Off login. The current Android test build has no purchase flow.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Manage renewal in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting Scroll Off does not cancel it. For a refund, use Apple’s refund service.
How do I turn analytics off or remove data?
Turn analytics off in Profile → About & privacy. Reset data & protection removes local rules and history, but keeps the analytics preference and identifier. Reset does not delete previously sent events or cancel subscriptions. See our privacy policy or email us with a privacy request.
