Using Scroll Off

Scroll Off helps you manage access to distracting apps using daily limits, scheduled blocks and Focus sessions. Use it on devices you own or are authorized to manage, and follow applicable law. Do not use it to control someone else’s device without permission or interfere with the service.

You receive permission to use the app for its intended purpose. The app, website and original artwork remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party and open-source components retain their own licenses.

iPhone app license

The iPhone app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms explain Scroll Off’s features and subscription arrangements; they do not replace that license or Apple’s App Store terms.

Subscriptions

When a paid subscription is offered on iPhone, its price, billing period and any trial are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you buy. The amount shown by the App Store in your region is the price that applies.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before renewal. You can manage or cancel renewal in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app or resetting its data does not cancel your subscription.

Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the purchase to recover an active subscription after reinstalling. Scroll Off does not require its own login. Purchase access is subject to Apple’s entitlement records. Refund requests go through Apple’s refund service, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable consumer law.

The current Android test build has no purchase flow. We will show any future Android offer and its terms before you purchase.

What blocking can and cannot do

Blocking depends on the permissions you grant, your device, operating-system restrictions and the rules you set. Revoking access, uninstalling the app or changes to your system can stop protection. Scroll Off is not a guarantee that an app will be inaccessible in every circumstance.

Usage reports depend on data supplied by the operating system and may update with a delay. Onboarding time-back figures are estimates based on your inputs, not measured past activity or guaranteed future savings.

Scroll Off is a personal productivity tool, not medical treatment or an emergency service. Keep essential communication and emergency functions available.

Your data

The privacy policy explains local storage, optional analytics and your choices. You are responsible for the rules and information you enter. Local data may be lost when you remove or reset the app.

Availability and your rights

We work to keep Scroll Off useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change as the app and operating systems evolve. We will provide notices and remedies required by applicable law for material changes to paid access.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, or limits liability where doing so is prohibited. The Apple Standard EULA governs the iPhone license, including its warranty and liability provisions.
